Ever since I was in diapers, I've been playing video games. You read that correctly. Before I could control my own bodily functions, I was controlling virtual heroes and expertly guiding them through intense levels fraught with vicious enemies and bottomless pits. Turns out that video games come naturally to me. Throughout the years, I've never had any trouble dominating whatever title I've popped into a console system. But what about real life? I'm not quite so great at that. I've often wondered how much easier life would be if I had a controller and a set of extra lives to guide me through it. Eventually, this lead to an epiphany: video games have taught me everything I need to know about succeeding in life. In fact, they've taught me everything I need to know about EVERYTHING. My extensive history with video games has prepared me for nearly every situation, from how to arrange blocks to how to save the universe. I just had to search my 8-bit soul and figure out what each game was trying to prepare me for in the real world. I've poured all of my "scientific" research and soul-searching into this book, drawn exclusively from the video game classics of the 1980s and early 1990s. So open up this book and start leveling up. Over the years I have collected and accumulated a number of, what I call: "Bits and Pieces of Kingdom Wisdom and Revelations." This book contains some of my favorite, power pack, key words of wisdom and revelations. As you read you will understand my reason for using this title. The little bits and pieces in this book will, either, add too, or change your concept about certain views in Christendom and kingdom insight. The title of this book is not mentioned throughout the book; in reading you will, also, understand why. For instance, this book is not written with much detail, or with exhaustive information about any particular subject. Most of my views are short with a proverbial fl avor; this means, that sometimes it may seem as if you are actually, reading proverbs. Some of these sayings might be viewed as, idioms, motto and some, as I said, have the fl avor of a proverb, which from a kingdom perspective, I believe, fit the messages in this book perfectly. Most of these proverbial sayings were conceived in my spirit and were birthed by the Holy Spirit, often times, when I was in prayer. Many years have passed since I started recording these sayings. I believe this book of Spirit filled wisdom should've been blessing people everywhere long ago. My greatest desire for this book is that every reader will discover a greater passion for purpose, and a greater desire to grow in kingdom revelation, which will be beneficial for kingdom living. This book contains a wealth of, what I believe to be: wise spiritual snacks, lunch and occasionally, readers might discover a full meal to dine on, which is—without a doubt—good for the spirit, soul and body.

Introduction My parents had a profound effect on me and the way I think. This is no major revelation in itself, but some of the effects are worth sharing. My mother, of course, had a lot to do with how I turned out, and I may write a book about that sometime, but this book focuses on my father. Dad was always vocal about things and many of his sayings really stuck with me. Mother often said these and other things, but (no offense, Mother) this group I'll share as if they came just from Dad. Some of the lessons he taught me were obvious, spoken attempts to share a particular piece of information. Others, that were less obvious or non-verbal, sometimes even subliminal, he communicated to me through his actions and attitudes. Lately, I've found that in day-to-day conversation with those around me, these "sayings" keep popping up. Often, I catch myself saying: "My Dad used to tell me..." followed by some little bit of wisdom or an anecdote that relates to the current topic. Over the years, as I have begun to witness some of life's lessons personally, these bits of wisdom or "wizbits" have become even more meaningful to me. When added to my new experiences, they have begun to mold my attitudes and directions in life. The wizbits have become much more than the "one-liners" Dad told me. I think he knew that would happen and intentionally planted these seeds to grow. This is an attempt to bring those "wizbits" to others. I hope that they will make you smile, help you remember your father with kind regards, and maybe even make you a little wiser.
